How it works

Five steps, done properly

We engage and educate the client, we deliver the report, and a qualified accountant decides and submits. No pressure, no jargon, and nothing filed without your say-so.

1

We educate and engage

We talk you through what capital allowances are, what is possible in your case, and what the process involves. Most people have never heard of this relief, so we start by making it make sense. Nobody is asked for a penny or a document on that first call. And if you would rather sit down together, we are happy to come to you.

2

We qualify the opportunity

Using SiteRegister and an AI-first review of your documents, we check the position and weed out the cases that probably will not work, so nobody wastes time or money. Because it is fast, we can be honest with you fast. If there is no claim, we tell you, and we tell you why.

3

We deliver the report

SiteRegister identifies the potential qualifying expenditure and shows what a good claim looks like, applying HMRC’s own guidance with every figure sourced. You and your accountant can see exactly how we got there.

4

We brief the accountant

We engage with the accountant handling your claim, ideally one from our panel, on what needs to go into it, so it is done properly.

5

We hand the case over

A qualified accountant reviews the report, exercises their own judgment, applies for the HMRC authority where it is needed, and makes the submission. We never make the submission ourselves. You pay only once a claim has succeeded.

A report, not a survey

Every capital allowances firm will tell you they do a free survey. The reality is that the survey is almost always a paint-by-numbers desktop exercise built on generic figures. Nobody has the surveyors to visit every property, so very few firms actually do.

We are straight about it. Our desktop work is not generic. It runs through SiteRegister, which applies HMRC's own guidance and manuals to your specific property and sources every figure, so the report is yours and not a template.

So we do not call it a survey, because it is not one. It is a desktop report, and we would rather tell you that plainly than dress it up. We are not accountants or tax advisers, but we are experts, and we would rather show you the working than ask you to take our word for it.

Getting started

What we need from you to start

At the start, just the documents we ask for, mostly your accounts or tax returns. There is nothing to commit to and nothing to pay. We are simply working out whether you have a claim worth making.

Nothing bad can happen by sending them. We are not filing anything and not contacting HMRC. If the relief is there, we will show you, and your own accountant is welcome to check every figure. If it is not, that is the end of it, with nothing owed to us.

A short, no-pressure conversation. There is no upfront cost, and you only pay when a claim succeeds.
