Think of it the way a GP works with a heart specialist. You run your client's tax. We are the specialist brought in for a job that sits outside general practice: identifying the capital allowances built into the fabric of a commercial property. And we are happy to meet you and your client in person, on site if it helps, so everyone can see exactly how we work.
We are not accountants, solicitors or advisers, and we say so plainly. We do not give tax advice, and we do not submit claims. We deliver a fully sourced report. You review it, exercise your own judgment, and decide whether and how to claim. The decision, and the submission, are always yours or the work of one of our panel brought in for this task, and this task only.
Everything in the open, nothing behind the curtain
Here is exactly how a claim comes together when you work with us. Nothing hidden, nothing you cannot check.
- Every report applies HMRC's own guidance and manuals, provided through SiteRegister, our own tool, so the method is the same every time.
- Every figure carries a source reference and the working behind it. A third party could rebuild the report from it. It is defensible by design.
- The qualifying proportion and the statutory writing-down rates are kept sensible, so nothing is overstated.
- You and your client get the full report. Review it, question it, take it to anyone you like. We would rather you checked our working than took a number on trust.
- We are clear about what is desktop work and what is a genuine in-person visit. We never dress one up as the other.
We are not accountants or tax advisers, but we are experts.
We have been doing this for six years, through Covid and everything since, with a review score around 4.7 that we earned the honest way. We are not an accountancy practice, and we do not pretend to be. What we are is expert in one narrow and valuable area: finding the relief that sits outside general practice and proving every figure of it.
